This is a painting of my little betta fish Zelda. Sadly she passed a few months ago and I still miss her bubbly personality. Yes, fish have a lot of personality. She loved to hide behind her decorations and pop out and surprise me. She even loved music. Her favorite was instrumental. She would get so excited and shake her fins when I would turn the music on. I hope you like my little tribute to her.
Art is something that has fascinated me since I was a little girl. When I was maybe about eight or nine, my dad saw me drawing one time, and then the next day my parents had signed me up for art classes. Those lessons have allowed my artistic talent to grow over the years, and I am grateful to have had a chance to discover this talent at such a young age. For a few years I was only accustomed to drawing with pencils, and occasionally colored pencils. Later on I started experimenting more with painting. I have enjoyed using acrylic paints for many years. I still enjoy using pencils and acrylics but I have also been stepping out with other mediums as well such as graphite pencils, soft and oil pastels, and watercolors. I love drawing...
