I painted a Mother's Day card for my mom with this design. I liked the design so much that I decided to recreate it. What I really enjoyed about this painting was how bright and vibrant it is. Roses also are my favorite flower and my favorite flower to paint. I hope you all enjoy this painting and I would love to hear comments from you guys.
Art is something that has fascinated me since I was a little girl. When I was maybe about eight or nine, my dad saw me drawing one time, and then the next day my parents had signed me up for art classes. Those lessons have allowed my artistic talent to grow over the years, and I am grateful to have had a chance to discover this talent at such a young age. For a few years I was only accustomed to drawing with pencils, and occasionally colored pencils. Later on I started experimenting more with painting. I have enjoyed using acrylic paints for many years. I still enjoy using pencils and acrylics but I have also been stepping out with other mediums as well such as graphite pencils, soft and oil pastels, and watercolors. I love drawing...
